a few P5 questions...

i just got a 02 P5 about a month ago, and it's oil change time. just wondering what kind of oil everyone else is using. i was thinking of going synthetic.

also, what kind of intake would you guys recommend? i see lots of ppl with the injen CAI, but i've seen lots of cheap stuff on ebay too... don't know what's more worth it.

and the last one... does anyone know the piping size for the mazdaspeed exhaust?

Welcome to the club, MokeOne!

1. I use Mobile1 10W-30 on my P5.
2. I had an eBay short ram and switched to an Injen cai. I may be tripping, but I think I feel a little difference between the two. I dunno if it's 150 bucks worth of difference, but there's a little somethin' somethin' extra with the Injen.
2 Not sure exactly, but a little over 2". Not quite 2.25".

cool. thanks for the info. i was trying to decide if i should get the mazdaspeed exhaust, or save up a bit more for the racing beat cat back. i'm just afraid of sounding like a huge bee going down the street. hehe.

I use Mobil1 in my car and have had a SRI and now a CAI. There is a definate difference in low end torque with the CAI installed. As for different brands, the only difference you will notice is in your wallet.
