I can't find anywhere on Google where it gives you instructions to paint your head and tail lights. If anyone knows how to do this good, I'd like to know how to do this.


Also if you know how to paint your dash pieces, you should probably let me know on that subject, too.

Well I just took apart and painted my headlights the other night actually. The biggest pain is taking the front bumper off just to get to the headlights if u have a 3rd gen. Basically all u need to do once u get the headlights out is to preheat your oven to 200 degrees F, be sure to take off all the rubber vent hoses on the back of the housing so they don't melt!and put the headlights in the oven for 10 minutes a piece, then u take them out and pull the cover apart from the housing before it cools off. Be carefull not to break any clips though. Once u have the cover off the rest is pretty self explanitory. Just unscrew the bezel from the housing, paint it, let dry, put it back on and then push the cover back onto the front of the housing as much as possible then put it back into the oven for 10 mins. take it out and push it on the rest of the way. and walla u are done. If u need any help with getting the front bumper off just let me know and I can explain it to you. Its pretty easy but there are some tricky parts.

For painting dash pieces, you take 'em off, sand them smooth, clean them with alcohol, and then use a plastic-friendly paint. I've heard good things about Krylon.
