Alarm-"sigh"

I am trying to put in my Autopage alarm from my old car, and i tried tapping the wires from my factory alarm. No luck.my relays aren't working and everything just isn't right. Do I simply unplug, and remove the old alarm...and if so, will the keyless and starter still work??? I have the all-so-familar "Upgraded" perimeter mazda alarm installed. Basically, what I am saying is "Do I have to get rid of my factory alarm, to put in my aftermarket???" Thanks for any suggestions!!!!

You'd be better off just pulling the factory shitty system out althgether. It'll save you ALOT of headaches when troubleshooting.
