Thanks for the updates Matty. I figured something this custom will take alot of time. Don't worry, all of us are waiting paitently. It just gives us all the more time to get cash together.

w3rd. When I have the partsin my hands I absoultely expect everyone to hold me to a deadline but when I've had to ship things off and have no control over anything it's hard for me to lay out an exact time frame.

Adam did mention that this new blower (designed specifically for us) will provide EASILY enough power to destroy a stock bottom end. He said it will be called a "T-5". It's a hair bigger than a standard T4 compressor but it'll still be responsive and have plenty of range for those wanting to turn up the boost. He said similar models he made showed some heat gain after 8psi (almost double my last blower) Anything over 8psi should probably be intercooled or water-injected.

Just FYI, I've started working on a small air-air intercooler to mount inside the engine bay. Sounds crappy I know but this will be mounted away from the engine and radiator and have it's own 12V e-fan attached to it. My plan is to offer it as a hot pipe upgrade so if you wanted to upgrade you'd just need to buy the one pipe with the core/fan in it. It would be controlled by a pressure switch to activate at a certain boost level. The fan could also be replaced or augmented with a water-mist system.

There are lots of possibilities with this and I'm going to go over as many as I can. The low price tag of the initial kit should give people some room for upgrades later.

Haha, thats what I luv to hear. The power of this blower can destroy the bottem end of our motor. Then this blower must really have some ***** to it. Every update gets better and better matty. I seriously can't wait to see these into production and dynoed. Well the holidays are over, maybe now I can finally get my money together and start saving for this. I don't care how long it takes me to save up, but its a goal of mine to get this kit.

Well, the last blower used an internal belt which had pros and cons. The belt didn't require any additonal maintaince but it limited the power of the blower. This new blower will be internaly lubricated which will require small fluid changes every 3-5K miles but will have a much higher boost limit.... think 10-12psi on the old blower vs 20+psi on the new one.

Also the new blower has a higher step-up in the internal transmission. Think of it like going from a 4.0:1 final drive to a 4.4:1.....it's a 10% increase in blower speed with no increase in rpms. Good stuff.

Woo! I go away snowboarding for a day and all this good news, I need to go away more often!

Sounds like awesome news. It's great that Adam(who I assume is the guy making all of the stuff) is being upfront about everything, unlike past experiences....And I'm intrested in hearing about the small IC set up, considering I myself was planning on upping the boost down the road and was thinking about making a custom IC set-up for myself, but maybe now I wont have to! Anyway, great news and cant wait for more!

yeah, I'm going to provide an option for anyone wanting to upgrade. I think it would be cool to pop the hood and see a seperate heat exchanger without outside airflow. I've got just a lot of room on the drivers side of the engine bay (even more if you relocate the battery to the trunk). Also, since the engine fans can be put in FRONT of the radiator you can put the IC core behind the radiator and use a small aqua-mist system to compensate..but anyway, you see what I'm saying.

lots of possibilities.

Well since the hot pipe already runs near the bottom of the radiator, would it be easier to just keep the same configuration and add a small intercooler to the bottom of that? That might be what you're talking about, but from your description it sounds like you want it up behind the radiator.

yeah, thats what I had in mind originally but with a little extra piping a smaller 9" core could be mounted up where the SRI filters go and still provide enough space to blow through the MAF.

Options are everywhere...I've just gotta get this crap from the machinist...i'm starting to get real pissed off. I'm just tired of waiting on everyone. I bust my *** when I have it in my hands why can't anyone else??

Any news? Now that I'm paying off my debt, car and insurance with my tax refunds, I might actually quite possibly have some money to spend on my vehicle this spring/summer.

it's just dragging it's feet man. I never expected it to go smoothly but I'm having delays around every corner. The new stuff should be done soon (what I'm being told).

Basically here are the excuses I'm given:

1. waiting for patent on new blower design

2. forged gear sets have to be designed and ordered in bulk (this is the current delay)

3. the compressor housing was designed 180* from how I need it. I caught this prior to him shipping anything so thats good.

4. Can't set the molds until the blower is finished or else things might not line up properly.

I don't think so man. Ken from p-garage is handling all sales though. Nothing will be sold by me.
