I really hope the womp kit will come into mass production soon. I'm dead set on having it for my car. I'm planing my whole build around this supercharger. So I need it, you got the goods and I want it bad haha lol.

i hear ya. It's been a frustrating trial and error process but this is the kind of stuff you encounter when you're doing something no'ones ever done before, by yourself, in your spare time.

I'm really hoping to have the new stuff back any day now and then after I test fit and see what changes need to be made we'll get re-dyno'd and some videos for everyone.

still waiting.... the new machinist had to completely re-do the compressor housing because it discharged 180* from where It was supposed to.

This is kinda another feet dragging by another shop. Par for the course

i'd hold off on buying anything else until I figure out exactly what changes are going to be made for the new blower.

Once the guy sends me stuff back that I can fit in the car I'll know. I'll try to get in touch with him again this week. I figure between thanksgiving and chirstmas he's just dragging his feet on this.

sure, we'll shoot for new years eve 06.

I spoke with him again today he said he has most everythig finished but there are major delays in getting the blower finished. I asked him for pics of the completed pipes and brackets to tide us over...I'm having to wait just as long as you guys. I know it sucks but this kind of crap happens when you get cheated by your friends and lied to. This is my last attempt at finishing this though. If this guy screws me I'm just sending everyone their money back and you guys can fend for yourself.

Taking crap from kiddies is the last thing I need in my life.

Hey it looks like we posted something at the same time matty. Yeah hopefully these guy doesnt screw you over like the others did. I'm getting looking forward to this. How major are the delays for the blower. Like hardcore major, like another 6 months. Or just a lil major lol. Says 1-3 months. Or do you even know??? Some pics of the pipes and everything would be awesome. But to be completely honest with you. To quote something you said, I dont think
"this was ever meant to see the light of day". but hopefully I am wrong. Just get back with us when you have more info on this one, alright. Thanks, later.

I've asked the guy for pics of what he's got done now...he hasn't replied back yet.

In all honesty I hadn't heard from him in weeks and wes getting very mad. When I got a chance to check my emails there was one from him apologizing and letting me know that there were some delays with the blowers.

I don't know what kind of timeline I'm looking at. Keep in mind this isn't what I had done previously....buying bends, cutting and wleding everything...this guy is making cast molds in two different varieties AND CNC machining his own custom headunits all from billit aluminum. It's a lot of work and I was told originally that there would be a build time of approx 2 months just to make the molds for the pipes and brackets. So in all honesty it's not THAT much of a delay....just a headache more than anything.

I spoke with Adam today. He explained in detail the delays and it's well justified. The blower he's building for this application is of my own request. Basically he had units available but needed tweaking to work well with our cars. He's also having to build in bulk. The molds are made but not set in stone yet because he wants my final approval on the new headunit for making everything around it first.

Also, everything is made in house except the bearings and special coatings. He had to ship the impeller and other gear pieces out to be "treated". I don't remember the exact process he mentioned but I think it was cryo-treating.

Things are coming along and I'm really hoping to have a lot of new info in the next few weeks.
