but luckily with SC motors good hot NA cams will work, where as Turbo applications require differsnt more drastic overlaps and durations

Will the short block itself, without being boosted, give a performance boost to the car? Or are the parts just beefier to handle the extra compression?

if the shortblock was built with increased (raised) compression, yes you'd see a small gain. Forging the internals is used to increase the amount of stress the parts can take before distorting or breaking. Very important when throwing a lot of boost at a motor.

while you're at it have it dynamically blaanced, knife edge the crank and blueprint it.....dont forget to work on the block as well, grind all casting flash out of it, have it bead blasted and tumbled, etc...

You are cold as ice roddimus prime!

You sure you will have enough time to get this baby setup and semi-tunes before sept 11? You still have to wait for daveb to whip up some mounting brackets before you can build put on the SC right?

Also is the bd-600 SC roughly the saem size as that one?

DaveB said he only requires a few days to come up with the brackets and several pulleys for me to do my testing. I'll have prototypes and the ones that get sold in the kit will be hard coated and lighterweight etc...

Yeah, I can run all of the charge piping in one day since I've already made the room in the engine bay. Once Dave says it's on it's way back to me then I'll pull the ac out and remove the ps-loop and just leave everything hanging until it arrives and bolts right in. As soon as the haltech shows I'll go ahead and wire it in to make sure I have no delays there.

The blower you're looking at IS the BD-600.
