So would any of you guys say that the Nology Hotwires are worth anything? And if they were to be purchased is it possible to get replacement coils to go with them? What about plugs, what kind would go good with the wires?

The only reason I ask is because I have them and I don't believe they were such a smart investment at all. I guess if I can make them worth my money by spending a little more on different plugs or such then I would at least give it a try ...

Nology wires worth nothing performance-wise.
Use NGKs, don't waste your money on anything else.

Am I in just as good hands going to a local auto store or should I look for the plugs online someplace?

speakin' of buyin' plugs, i need to know where i can get a set of plug wires fast!

i needed them like yesterday!

I'm lookin' for NGK wires, but I'm a bit worried as to if I know that it'd work on my car for sure. I don't want to buy something and it's the wrong 1 i purchased.

I'm not from the US, I'm from Trindad. The dealer here won't have that for my car because it's different than the local models.

I have a model that was shipped in from Japan so the engine's a bit different.

O.k. thats different.
You might still try to go to the dealer with your VIN number and they could look it up since plug wires for your car most likely will be the same for a few different model of Mazda.

i called the dealer here and talked to them and they said that they don't bring those plug wires here because of the different engine size. I'm kinda thinkin' that I won't get it in the US either because my engine is a 1.5l.

My car is a 99 familia shipped in from Japan, engine capacity 1500cc.
Is it possible to get plug wires for my car in the US, or could someone direct me to a website where I can purchase if they know?

Check out the NGK website and also www.sparkplugs.com
You may be able to find the correct NGK wires at one or both of those sites.
