Pardon my ignorance, but where exactly is the plug you have to remove to fill up the transmission fluid?? I had a quick look and saw a brass looking round cap that was over top of something and I fiddled with it but it just kept spinning. Is it underneath that??? I plan to change to synthetic fluid soon so I would like to know. Thanks...

To see the gear oil fill plug, you need to remove most of the stock intake. On the transaxle housing, the bolt is facing downward at an angle if you are looking at the car head on. I believe it is 23mm. I think you need a hose and funnel to make your life a lot easier to change it. I was gonna do mine today, but it was more involved than I expected, so I put it off until later

FWIW I've never had to remove any of my intake to fill the tranny oil. It's not easy to reach the filler hole with a hose from the top, but this is easily resolved by feeding the hose down by the radiator, then getting under the car and placing it in the filler hole. You will probably have to jack up the car anyway to drain the tranny in the first place.

I have my Injen on, and the stock intake cluttered the engine compartment, so I assumed it would make life easier to find it to remove it...Also, what length of hose did you use? I was told just to grab a 3' hose or something and do it from the top. Did you use a funnel carguycw, or just the hose straight into the hole? Thanks man.
