Just did a Trany Flush and Fill

Have just about 50,000 miles on my 2001 ES Auto Trans. and from some posts here realized that I should have done a transaxle fluid replacement some time ago so I called the dealer....they said between 45000 and 55000 miles for $120. I recalled that I had my trany flushed on my 850 volvo a few years back at a Percision Tune Auto shop and they did a good job...they have the machine that empties all of the trany fluid and recirculates in the new. So I called and went there....used the same set-up for my Protege and it only cost me $69.90 plus tax....just some info for those thinking of having this done....they put in Dextron III as that's what my auto trans. calls for. I knew I had choices of synthetic but I figure if I keep it changed every 30,000 miles for now on, I'll be fine. I did notice somewhat improved shifting.
