I just got them in the mail and I have some experience but want to make sure I get them in right. If I install them correctly I will not need to time anything right. Someone hook me up with some detailed instructions. please

Install

It is always a good practice to time everything after any valvetrain work, but not totally necessary. If you take your time and mark everything carefully, you can put it back together with no light. Might want to consult a professional if you have never done anything like this before. Good luck!

I didn't think timing was even adjustable on the 3rd Gens? If this is the case, it should just be a bolt on and go affair, as long as you get the cam gears lined up correctly when installing the timing belt.

I tryed installing them myself, and that is the last time I try something like that. The threw the timing off. Once you line the cam gears, and take off the belt, a tensioner pulls the belt down. So you might have to take off a few more parts to pull up on the tensioner. I let my mechanic fix what messed up on. And if you do it, Put some cocking where you take off the gears. You'll now what im talking about if you do it. Good Luck!
