WagnerMotorsports Camshafts GB
Ok guys. Today marks the start of the GB on the Stage 2 NA cams. We've already gone over most of the details but I have to correct a lot of speculation from the previous thread....here goes.
#1. Price is $490 per set was $475 but some changes were made and materials costs are on the rise.
#2. NO CORE CHARGES EVER!!! just place your order and enjoy your new cams.
#3. Cams are all BRAND NEW BILLITS there was some skeptical people who felt hard-welds were'n't the way to go....thats why the price increase. (hardwelds available on YOUR cores for $475 but I'd rather just pay the $490 for new units)
#4. Group Buy Starts Today and ends in appx. 3 weeks. Unfortunatly the cams ordered from Crower did not make it in prior to Wagners' scheduled dyno time so the next dyno time will be wednesday of next week.
#5. We need a minimum of 6 buyers for the GB 'nuff said
I'm going to ask about shipping when I talk with them next, but I don't expect it to be much. Ok guys....here goes:

That's great that we don't have to worry about the cores being sent in, I'm sure this will save a lot of hassle for everyone. Plus, now if you ever decide to sell these, you don't have to wait for someone else to send you there stock cams.

very nice. I'd like to sell about 10-15 sets of these but I'm not sure how many people we can get between now and then. If you guys are on other forums make sure to divert people here.
I'm trying to use these GB's as a way of drawing attention to my powdercoating and polishing services so if we can get several large GB's done then people will know me and know what to expect when dealing with me....

Okay I may be stupid and asking something that was answered.. that I could have missed... but I want to know how this will affect the CEL etc... and... ease of swap? I have never swapped cams before... and so want to see how difficult this would be for a novice.. I'm very interested.. just want to have some information first.

NO, this will not cause a CEL. This is a mechanical piece not electrical. It's not a SUPER easy job, but it's not something I would hesitate to do with a good manual.
You could have a friend with some basic handtools do the swap for you. It's not particularly hard and you should be able to do without within 2 hours or so.

Hey Iam new and intrested in this GB but have anyone seen a dyno on this.
