ok, i posted some questions on the yahoo groups site, and i am still curious what needs to be done to the mx6/probe header by bosal to make it fit our engines. besides removing the first cat, and adding a bung for the o2 sensor, what else needs to be done to get it to fit? has anyone tried it yet? pictures? i would like to get it, but i want to know what is involved first.

thanks

I have no answer to your question but I have a follow-up question for anyone. If we remove the primary cat from the p5 or mp3, there still is the secondary cat underneith right? How well does that secondary cat work? How bad would the emissions be with only the secondary cat? Could one replace it with an aftermarket same size, primary cat? I know that the car would no longer be ultra low emissions but would it still pass?
