Plus after the experiences zx2 owners have had with the g5m out of the escort GT I know that tranny wouldn't take times like that. The only way you could do it is if you had an 11k redline with a hell of a lot of power to push it. 235hp would have to be achieved at 5k and stay going till 11k. You might get 2 gears out that way. But I'm positive the tranny would not take it.

okay, that's what I thought. NA then means no turbo or nitrous, just the standard airflow into the engine, correct?

yes, but N/A still covers things like bore/storker kits, port/polishing components, cams, etc... Anything that does not change the ambient pressure that the engine injests. Basically all forced induction applications (turbo, supercharger) or non N/A, or called FI. Although i think it can either way with nitous.

It is true that many consider Nitrous a gray area, but technically it is FI, it forces oxygen into the combustion chamber...which to me is the cut off...Nitrous just does it completely differently than compressors...
