Upgraded seats

I'd like to replace the driver/passenger seats in my '93 DX with something a lot more comfortable.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Many of us have replaced our seats with ones from MX-3s. I like mine a lot, the lateral support is MUCH better over my stock seats. For protege's they are a bolt-in replacement.

Sorry for the ignorance, and I may be sorry for asking....but what's an MX3? If it's an older Mazda model, how likely would these seats be available? Junk yards?

thx

seats

Well if u can find these mx-3 seats get them they seem hard to find matching ur interior color. I would search the bone yards and if nothing comes up buy some cheap racing seats they will hold u nice make ur car look better too ..Jon

i just got some tan MX-3 and they match my interior perfectly except for the reddish insert which actually doesn't look bad at all. they were FILTHY (dirt, mud, feathers, rust, etc.) and had a slight tear, so i got them steam cleaned and got the tear fixed. now they look GOOD! i like the fact that they're lower than the stock seats.

I just started a business selling aftermarket seats, they're good quality and a damn good price. Check them out at www.radionmotorsports.com.

I'll be doing a group buy soon, but if anyone's interested I can make you a good deal now, just email me directly or pm me. This group has helped me out a lot over the years, maybe this is a way I can repay it.

<Tom, just wondering, but any of SR's seats FIA rated?>

In a word, nope. These are your basic inexpensive aftermarket seats.
