Unhappy horn problem

My horn when i got my car was disconnected and when we hooked it back up it was stuck on unless you held the horn in. It seemed like it was the wrong way around like you had to push in to make it stop. We disconnected it and have left it like that but not having a horn stinks. Is there anything that can be done to fix the problem of the horn sticking on???
