DX or LX Protege?

I have a 1993 MX3. I"m saving up so I can buy a protege car with a Bp 1.8L dohc engine. I am planning on robbing everything I can from the protege so i can swap it into my 1993 MX3. I know with no Dout that I can swap motors, but here are my questions:

1. What other parts fom the protege car can I rob and swap it into my 1993 MX3, like brake caliper and etc.?

2. What the differents between the DX and LX Protege cars? So I can be an 100% sure that I get the right car with the best options.

Get the LX. The LX has the DOHC motor with all the options. The DX has the SOHC motor without the options... like power windows, power mirrors, sunroof, etc.

it's more of, what to swap from the MX3 to the Protege. The MX3 will have silghty better parts, if not the same ones.

But as stated the DX is a base model, SOHC 1.8L, no power mirrors, windows, locks, etc. no rear discs, smaller front calipers, smaller wheels, no cubby/cup holder center console, cheaper seats and fabric (not that the LX is all that geat, but better than the DX).

other than that, they are near identical. The person to ask is Dave (PinkMX3 on this board)

Thanks for the replies but you guys didn't understand what I ment. I'm just buying the Protege car to steal the engine and all the parts I can for my 1993 MX3 car. I always thought the DX Protege had only the Sohc 1.8L but I was seaching though ebay and I saw a couple of DX with DOHC 1.8L engines. SO I'm confuse.

Once again can you guys answer the question I ask earlier?

ALL DX Proteges come with the SOHC engine from the factory. Why are you buying a whole car when you can just go to a local junk yard and take whatever parts you need for your MX-3 ???

I have done the math between buying the car and just going to the junkyard and it come out to be almost the same money. The junkyard way is also more time consuming. Trust me, can you image finding a protege half-shaft in a junkyard. The 1990-94 Lx Protege in my city are like 500 dollars to 1000 dollars used.
