if you are asking if you can change your compression by changing the pistons....the answer is YES....its but ONE way to accomplish that.

can anyone tell me what are the physical changes in a piston that changes its compression rate...just want to know to increase my knowledge on engines....c'mon all you experts out there

there are a few different ways to change the piston to increase your compression...

one way is to change the design of the TOP of the piston....our pistons are effectively FLAT TOP pistons...they do however have small valve pockets in them....NOW if you changed the shape of the top of the piston by putting a DOME on it then the piston will effectively move farther into the volume of the head when its at Top Dead Center and make the final volume SMALLER...thus increasing the compression ration....

another way is to have pistons in which the distance from the center line of the wrist pin to the crown (top) of the piston is greater...thus making the over all length of the rod/pisotn combination longer....and thus when the piston goes to top dead center it also effectively goes higher in the cylinder and increases the compression ratio since the final combustion champer volume is decreased.

OR you could stick with the same piston...and use a connecting rod that is longer....results in teh same effect.

OR you could deck the head, making the combustion champer SMALLER...and also increasing the compression ratio.

hows that? help any????

actually yes...that makes perfect sense to me....now try this...why is lower compression so much better for turbocharging???

compression...is exactly that...you suck in air and you compress it....but the PRESURE of the air you are sucking in is what? something near atmosphereic?...but with a turbo charger you are pushing PRESURIZED AIR into the cylinder...so that although the STATIC compression ratio is low....after you charge the cylinder with presurized air THEN compress it...its like having a high compuression engine....for you develope MORE presure because you started with more air to begin with....

SO, if you have too high a compression ratio to start off...you end up OVER presurizing and blowing something up!

hows that? make sence?

Do you have a carburated engine?
in the usa, there are no proteges that are carburated.
anyway, to get to what I was going to say....

we don't have anything that warms the intake air. there are no sleeves on the intake assembly.

¿usted tiene fotografia de mangas?

no ,los carros de P,R son iguales que los de U.S.A es injeccion tambien
pero hay unas mangas por la arana {intake manifold}
q pasa agua del motor par ella por q aqui se lo hacen a casi todos
los carros y tenia un amigo q de las elimino
