Higher Compression Piston Set

You need to get high compression pistons or shave the head. hehe. I'd get the pistons. Or you might just want to get a turbo and keep the low compression.

You could always pull the head and have it decked to reduce the camber cc, and while its off have it ported and extrude honed. It would also be a good time to revalve with larger dia valves too.

In this case, the simple answer is the best. FS-ZE pistons bump compression to 10.5:1, MazdaSpeed pistons to 10.7:1.

Going from the stock 9.1:1 compression ratio to 10.5:1 should provide a nice boost in HP.

?

So if the mP3's don't have the higher compression how do they get the power out of it.

Actually, I have but I don't ever remember seeing that the pistons are the same. Must have overlooked.
