Widest rim for 1st gen?

Widest rim for 1st gen?

Whats the widest I can go? Will a 16*8 fit? The car will have zx2 sturts and ST spring.

my old rims were 17"x7.5" w/ coilovers, and i didn't have any problems with them except when making really sharp turns or U-turns; it would kinda rub. other than that, i didn't have any major problems.
