Winnipeg Tinting
Hi,
Just a couple of questions about local tinting laws...
1) It seems that our friends in Alberta are totally restricted from tinting their front side windows, but I'm pretty sure that's not the case here. Can anyone confirm?
2) Can anyone confirm how dark we are allowed to go? It's been a few years since I had my Cavalier done, but I think it was something lame like 65%. [I would prefer about 35% ]
3) Anyone know how strict the local cops are about #2? Not a single day doesn't go by when I don't see multiple cars that are blacked out...
4) Saw a J-Body on Pembina Hwy the other day with reflective tint... Not sure if I would want something like that, but it looked interesting. Any idea as to how highly illegal that is?
5) Where are people getting their tint done? When I had my Cavalier done 5 years ago, Tint King did a great job but wouldn't go past the limits. I've heard if you offer them cash and tell them not to write it up they'll do it, but that would mean no warranty... I do know a body shop that will do whatever you ask them to, but I'm not sure about price... Maybe that's my best bet?
Anyways, thanks to anyone that can help
