BREMBO S/CD Rotors for 5-luggers
#62
I doubt it will take that long. I figure another 2 weeks and we'll have more than enough.
The problem I have now is that there are a few several different sizes and my supplier hasn't returned my emails yet as to which rotors will fit which cars. Once I get this info back we may lose a few buyers.

Jaje, I've been trying to get in touch with the supplier but he has ducked my last 3 e-mails. I can't imagine why he would ignore me when I'm trying to place a large order. I will try calling tonight to see if I can get yours shipped now at the GB price.

HUGE UPDATE FOR EVERYONE!!!
1.6L rotors available in stock sizes for $95shipped in the lower 48.
1.8L rotors available in stock sizes for $95shipped in the lower 48.
P5/ES 5-lug rotors are $200shipped in the lower 48.
msp/mp3 5-lug rotors can be had on a "your own risk" basis. My supplier says they will not fit, but everything I've seen from mazdas own website says that the front rotors are the same 10.79" as the P5/ES rotors. The rears are SLIGHTLY larger at 11" (a fifth of an inch which is barely noticeable). The only difference between the MSP front rotors and standard rotors are that the MSP/mp3 rotors are "ventilated". They are somewhat hollow in the middle. The rears will have a SLIGHT difference in size. Typically what you see is that when the pad sits on the rotor there is a gap between the pad and the hub and the pad and the outter rim. If this Brembo rotor is a fifth of an inch smaller all it will do is shrink up the extra buffer. Sadly, I'm not able to personally test these on the mp3/msp so I can't promise they will fit. All signs indicate that they will but it is up to you. My supplier said that he will accept the rotors on return if they do not fit your vehicle withiin 30 days unused. This is a great buy on some great products. Someone (Roni) should really just buy these and guinea pig them for us!!
p.s. chamfered drill is similar to recessing a screw. If you drill a straight hole in the rotor you have a 90* edge at the top of the drill hole. When the pad is squeezed against the rotor the edge will actually cut into the pad causing it to wear out faster. On a chamfered drill the edge of the hole is somewhat rounded or recessed so that there is no rough edge on any of the slots or drills.
p.p.s. I still need 10 individual buyers for this GB to end. I have had 2 people ask me to hurry up and get this closed but I can't do it myself. Go out and help me get the word out. I want to get this all done and delivered in time for NOPI so we can show them off!

i've decided to swing for the fences and eliminate any issues i will have with the stock front brakes...this includes my decision to just replace them with a big brake kit (most likely wilwood 4 piston calipers and 12" 2 piece rotors with directional veins for better cooling)
i am still interested in a set of rears with slotting and cross drilling

You should probably read the entire thread. It's not that long. Basically there is no EXACT rear replacement for the mp3/msp's. It's slightly off (about 1/5"). you are more than welcome to buy both and if the rears don't look good to you then just return them.
I will be updating the list once I hear back as to what you want to do.
