All right...Hello first of all. I am going to buy a 08 speed3 and want to know if I should get the touring package or not. Do I need to use premium fuel, or can I get by using regular? Is it an okay daily driver?

the speed3 is a decent daily driver. my friend uses it to go to work and just about everywhere in the DC metro area. the ride quality is noticably firmer than your average car, but not back breaking. the hatchback adds practicality.

the differences between the sport and touring packages are almost negligable. the only reason my friend got the touring was for the HID headlamps. me personally, i can get away with halogen headlamps and cloth seats. the speed3 gets some kudos for a more upscale interior compared to other cars in the class.

yes it takes premium, you'll pay at the pump for the performance. hope this helps.
