speaker sizes

what's the default size speakers on the front doors?

i wanna change mine to something better.

With a bit of metal bending I fit 6 and a halfs in my 2000 pro. I think it is something weird like 5 x7 or 6x8.

i wanna change the both of them as well as the ones in the back by the trunk, they sound nice but i'm ready for something better

I had 6.5s in the front, and 6x9s in the rear of my 2000 ES. On my new 3, it's 6s all around. You should be able to upgrade quite easily while still keeping the original sizing.

If you have a 3rd gen(P5, ES, MSP, etc) , it came stock with 5x7's in the front and 6.5's in the rear doors. I put 6.5" Focals in my front doors without a problem. In fact, I saw some adapter plates on eBay.

i have a 3rd gen but no speakers in the back doors.
i only have speakers in the front doors and in the back seats by the head rests.
they can be clearly seen from in the trunk.
