Interferance engin or not?

Question, is the 2.0L dohc TLEV engine an interferance or non interferance?
The engine is in a 2001 protege mp3.
Need to know for future projects.

An interference engine means that the valves must remain timed properly or they will come into contact with the piston on it's compression stroke. A non-interference engie can lose a timing belt and be ok.....an interference engine will lose a timing belt and poop every valve on the head.
