Yes, you can hook it up to an OBDII scanner and clear it. I've got one. Some auto parts shops will check/clear it as well.

Sorry, no header here.

With the MIL Eliminator, the problem shouldn't reoccur. Did you reset the PCM? Disconnect the battery for at least 20 minutes.

hi GNO:
Before i cleared the error code at mazda dealer, i have tried the method to disconnect the battery. But the CEL would just be gone for one or two days, when hit highway speed then it was on.
i went to the dealer to clear the code today, and they didnt disconnect the battery. i will post the result to see if the CEL wil be on or not in few days.
thank u, GNO~ u r the only one who can answer my Q in the entire club...

Did you happen to get the code that was set? Maybe it's not header related.

Just wondering if you picked up a specific code. The second O2 sensor could be anything from P0136 thru P0141. Sometimes the code gets printed out on the invoice.

I mentioned disconnecting the battery because the PCM does some learning and resetting it would wipe out those values. It should not be the method to clear codes, because it doesn't clear the code, it just turns off the light temporarily.

That's no circuit activity detected. What probably happened was the PCM was expecting to see more fluctations in the reading. The MIL Eliminator didn't give that.

Good to see it hasn't come back.

something i observed. with the CEL on, i got better millage.......
Without CEL on, i could run 500~510KM per tank. With CEL on, i can run about 530km per tank. -_-!
With CEL on, the knock feeling when shift gear is more obvious than without CEL on.
I guess maybe the fuel supply is lean when there is no converter. computer detect dirtyer exhause, then supply less fuel.......!?
Anyone had the same experience??????????
