P5 Questions

I have a 2003 p5 3 months Old not much Mileage on it yet, to things that just started happening, the first one is the brakes make noise the first few min of driving after that there fine, is that Normal? I hope not, the second thing I just noticed is that when I have the car in park and start it up and Pump the brakes I hear a clicking noise from the gear shifter area, I have a Manu mantic is it called and it does not make the noise when in gear just in park.

Thanks for reading

My 98 Auto does that as well when I am in park and touch the brake. It is just the release mechanism so that you aren't shifting without the brake pressed. Although that does wear out after time because I can shift into reverse without hitting the brake (not cool).
