I have seen this guy's Pro on sound domain before. It looks to me like he is an electrical genius. Just look at all the toys he has installed!

Actually I do everything myself- but it's what I do for a living. I was in retail for a couple years, but now work for a company (tough to figure out which one...). My car is very low- key, but I've done cooler things, and we're getting ready to start on our biggest project yet...

I wish I had found this site long ago, I only found it from a link off another sounddomain page.

Thanks,
Thom

Welcome to the site and I'm glad you found it 'cause now I can interrogate you! Just kidding but I DO have one question,

How did you make the temp gauges looked so factory? What I mean by this is that the dash curves into the gauge. I really like how it looks.

Keep up the good work! thumbs up

I cut out some of the stock plastic dash piece so that the gauges would look more like a part of the dash than just sitting them on top of the panel. I made up rings (1/4" MDF) that the gauges fit into and then attached them to the stock piece. I then stretched a little grill cloth from the ring to the stock piece and soaked it with resin. When that was cured, a little more resin and mat to strengthen it, then some body filler to smooth it. The whole panel was then primered then textured before spraying it black.
