Protege's and 3's are not THAT fast out of the box. Once you mod them up and free up some restrictions (Air Induction, Exhaust, Headers...etc...) then you can start talking some smack. Even then, you're still hauling around in a really heavy car.
I've only owned my 3 for about 4 months, but I know for a fact that there's no way I could smack my friend's '01 Eclipse GT. However, once I get my mods done, then I might actually race him and see how close it really is.

it's my bro's and i'll get the pics up another day when i go up to take pics......yea it is a 3rd gen 2k2.....i dun take offense cause like no 1 belives me til they see the pics.....so np i'll get em next time i go up
