Oh The Love.....
Well I was on this forum not 10 minutes ago, I was bored so I went over to MSprotege just to peek around since I barely go there anymore, maybe a post here or there, but anyway...linked from the main page, I found this wonderful article, it all shows the love and apreciation(sarcasm) for matty... I know we here respect him, and for anybody not too sure on why some people dont like going over there, this is reason for a few....

yeah, I found it funny also. They seem to think for some reason that I NEED them. I don't need anything but word of mouth...and I'll be getting plenty of that here real soon.
I hate to pluck my own strings but one of the things I pride myself on here is our "no tolerance" policy. Everyone is held to the same rule set and no "bullshit" is tolerated. We may not have as many members as they do but the people that are here are good people and enjoy being here. Our numbers are growing daily. We've been really experiencing a big growth spurt this past year. I'm very pleased. As long as they keep banning people who mention my name this forum will continue to grow and prosper.

It's that thread that just chased me over here! I've been here for 15 minutes and I can already feel the difference. Over there, you have to pick through so much BS just to get the info you're looking for. It's like discussing something with a roomful of jr high kids (believe me, my son is 13).
BTW, how come my login works over here? Is there a central server that handles a lot of forums?

Welcome, SciFi. I too am a 'member' of msprotege. There are some very cool people over there but I can't stand the BS. I just don't understand why the admins allow so much crap. But, this is my home and always has been, so it doesn't really bother me.
Anyway, a lot of people leave here because there aren't 1,000 new posts every 15 minutes. But I can guarantee that if you have a question it will be answered correctly and with civility. I only wish the members here were my neighbors--there would be a backyard bbq every night, even in the winter!

This forum used to focus on first and second gen pro's a lot and when I came over I really tried to expand the 3rd gen info as well (since it's all I know about proteges). What we dont' have in quantity we make up for in quality.
Those song lyrics I bet are hillarious if I knew the song you were refering to. Sadly, I'm WAY behind the times when it comes to music.
