I think that it is just awesome that women and girls are starting to take part in the whole world of cars. My girls and I have been going to car shows and the track with our guys for years now, and throughout that time, have picked up quite a bit of information.
All the girls on this board rock and it is great to know that there are a # of us out there that love our cars and are willing and able to take care of them just as alot of guys out there do.

It dosn't matter if the girl beats the guy, or the guy beats the girl...its how you race

Me and my friend (a guy) were in my car and there was this Miata with two girls next to us.... it was mutual, the need for speed it seems, so we went and to my big embarassement, I missed the second gear

Now that was embarassing... and my friend wouldn't stop making fun of me hehe....

In any case, I don't mind losing to a girl..... not that much that is.... hehehe

i dont have a problem loseing to a girl. the way i see it is driving is more of a skill than anything and if you are a skilled driver thats what ill be looking for a SKILLED driver to race that would be in the same class as me. hell i know my girl friend would whoop the **** out of me with her cougar c2 but that would be different since her car is much more powerfull than mine . she is a good driver but she isnt the same driver that i am.

I have no problem losing to a girl. However I have yet to lose to a girl in my hatch I havent found a girl with a daily driven 9 second car yet, I have no doubt in the fact they can drive, but getting under the hood and doing all the grease monkey stuff? Doubtfully

its funny, when i beat a girl i dont think twice about it, but when i beat a guy, im like "ya damn straight", lol

girls race? no way, they'll break a nail or something, but there are some out there though that can shift good, for a girl.

oooooooh, talking trash, lol.

hey a girl can beat me any day, i wont get upset, maybe just fall in love.

but i do know a few women drives that could run alotta guys into the ground and make'em cry.

but i think of it as, if u can drive no matter what sex u are u deserve your respect.

DAMN RIGHT!

i drove a minivan for the first time last week, and i was seriously excited. i wanted to see HOW these people could drive those vans so horribly. i felt like i was driving a tour bus and it felt way too top heavy.

as for chicks driving, i'd say i see quite a few driving pretty fast. hell they pass me, and i'm usually speeding. what makes me shake my head is they know how to press the gas pedal, but can't seem to learn to change lanes quickly, safely, they don't know their vehicle, distance, size and how it handles. i've winced acouple times watching them on a bend...just waiting to see them brush the person beside them.

i have my fun, and i've laughed a few times at local car shows when guys have come up to say they wanted to meet me cause i gave them a good game of cat & mouse one night.

and might i add to this post, that every accident i've been in
1) wasn't my fault
2) all male drivers hit ME (one being a bus)

Owned! Actually, I have totalled 2 cars due to the fact that a female didn't know what the hell she was doing, so looks like we are in the same boat, but different rivers Bad driving goes both ways, male, female, it doesn't matter. Sure guys get more tickets than girls, but that is because the majority of the police force is a bunch of horny old fat guys Both male and female evenly contribute to bad driving, just some take it to the extreme.
