Went to the races Part 3...

Keep in mind this was my post over on the ClubRSX board.

Well, Tuesday night was interesting. I rolled out to the "active driving" meets with DaddyS. He was rollin his JRSC GSR, and I was rollin the Boosted MP3. We did a few runs just to see what would happen (I already knew ), and the results were interesting. Everytime we would run, through the lower gears, we were side by side, but into 4th gear, he would pull away steadily. I belive when I get my exhaust next month, and turn up the boost to 8, I will definitely be a contender. Anyway, the 1st spot we arrived at, we didn't even have time to park before one time showed up. Off to the next spot. We parked, and watched a bout a dozen runs, and then the GSR wants some, so he pulls out to line up, and I stay on the sidelines. He was about to be up, and then right in front of us, one time is hauling down the street fast! I didn't even hesitate to get gone! After that I didn't see DaddyS anymore. I ended up at the gas station at 35 and NW HYWY, where I met up with some familiar faces. We cruised back and forth to the different spots, with no luck in finding anyone. We cruised for a while, and picked up a "tail." There was this unmarked white van following all of us, and there were about 3-4 guys in hoods in the front seat, with who knows how many folks in the back. They followed us everywhere we went. I finally did something to lose them, cause their intentions were not good. Leaving "Sweetheart", I pulled over on Duncanville road, and just sat there while the other 2 cars that were with me passed. The van made a U to come back to me. As soon as they got close enough, I hit the gas, and speed to catch the others, and we lost them. How do you like that!? A crew of jackers!:

wtf, car jackers....

otherwise your races sound very familiar to what happens around here.... we all know what street racing can do, but **** it is fun. I dont take my p5 out unless i intend to just sit (yea right, im always the initiator to get things rolling going for the first race). So the SE-R is the car you'd see me out racing in (stripped, and prepped for a night of racing).

cant wait to see what your car puts down once you get it to 8psi

oh and btw, we have quite a few "street racing clubs" even here in nebraska, kinda funny, but very few people have gotten caught, and no on ehas been hurt (other than a few engines)... organized racing isnt always a bad thing

I forgot to mention that one of the cars rollin with us was a T3/T4 Turbo'd Civic Hatch that just killed me on the highway. A M3 (E46) passed us slowly, he pulled up to race it, but the M3 driver declined. I have no doubt that he would have stayed right with him!

So it wasn't very slow the, huh?

Have you been to the track or dyno yet? What kind of ETs are cars that you beat run?

Civics are soo played out. They have been playeed out since the fast and the furious came out 2 years ago. I dont give credit to tegra or civic drivers that just bolt on crap (have a shop do it ) and act like they did so much work . But i always give credit to the new guys that do cool things with them ( molded RsX light or skyline lights)They deserve it ...Jon

The nice thing about living in central pa is there aren't that many 'hooked up' cars around. Most of them are rice, but there are some that are actually nice. My friend has a '94 Civic Hatch with a B18c (or B18a, whichever was in the type-R Integra). Yes, an actual Type-R engine, he had to go to North Carolina to get it. I have to say, it's very quick.
