maybe

I have thought about it but I lke to run in the all motor street class at the track more competetive.and more cars I made it to the semis in an import and compact shootout this summer.there were 178 cars there and made it to the final 4.but that neon I was telling you about earlier was who I drew he smoked me he always does he beat the del sol si to win.but i won a trophy and 250 dollars.not bad for a pro.

i see it in street races, yeah its a little crazy when your going 100mph down a school street. only thing thats stupid when your racing his getting innocent people hurt, whatever else is practically your fault.

I street race. Where do i do it though? haha out in myakka (all straight roads nothing out there. I also do some at the tracks too. It all depends on what riced out honda or acura wants to go. You think if someone revs their engine at me, they're not asking for trouble? haha.. i usually don't turn a race down. I mean yea its dangerous but for goodness sakes.. I got hot by a drunk driver! And i wasn't even going over the speed limit or anything. So the Focus went bye-bye and no more races for me But I mean, getting in a wreck while street racing is as common as getting hit by a drunk driver (like me). So either way.. there are so many possibiliies of getting hurt and street racing adds to it but i mean.. so does driving drunk. Its a two way street.. if its not you doing something stupid, its gonna be someone else.

Depends.

Really, it all depends. I think it is okie to street race so long as you aren't endangering innocent people. Racing on desolate roads, and maybe at night, you minimize the potential of hurting others and yourself. Make smart calculated risks. Most people aren't stupid, and they understand that speed can kill. But so long as you understand and make make smart descisions about your driving habits, its no biggie. Racing is fun as hell, and no matter what people say, I'll still do it when conditions permit.

I just had to put my opinion in....

Yes I know that street racing is illegal, but you have to admit it's fun. I think too many people focus on the fact that it's "dangerous". Personally I don't think street racing is dangerous, stupid drivers are dangerous. There us to be a group of like 15 of us that would go out every weekend and street race and everything was low key and under control. We went out to an old country road at around 1:00 in the morning and got our races in without interuptions until people started catching on to where we were going and what we were doing. Then everyone and their dogs started showing up and it wasn't fun anymore because so many people out there were being stupid and insisted on bring alcohol out to the races. When all the inexperienced people started coming out was when things started to get dangerous so we quit going. I think it's all fun and games if it's done in a responsible way, not all people are stupid drivers!!!
