There's this highschool kid here in Westerville that has a '99 1.6L protege with a huge aluminum wing, nitrous stickers, and a loud exhaust. Anyways, he works at McDonalds and last summer I went through the drive through and he says, "nice car, too bad I'd blow it off the road!" I was like"what do you have", he points out his car and says that it's turbocharged. Yeah, whatever. Anyways, tonight I was on my way home and I hear someone revving behind me so I put my window down and put my turn signal on, hoping to god that he'll follow me. We turn and get side by side and I ask him about his "turbo" and he says that he blew his headers, so he got rid of it. What! Now he say's he's only got headers and exhaust(still has a HUGE nitrous sicker on the back of his bumper though). At the next light he turns left and I follow, since that's the way I'm going anyways. I don't get on it right away, because we were right near a cop hideout, but he does and gets about three car lengths ahead of me. After I feel that I'm safe from cops, I hit it and wined out second, now I'm about two cars behind him. Next, third gear and I go from one behind to about two infront. It was gross! I shift to fourth, because I'm slowing down and he just looks over and begins swerving through traffic. I hate street racing, but this kid deserved it. Just thought I'd let you all know. Later.

at first I almost got pissed you were bragging about beating a 1.6L Pro...but since the guys was a punk McDonalds workin liar(there are no headers for a 1.6,and blew his turbo header so he got rid of it,wtf is that??),so good for you!!!...

the only 1.6L turbo 3rd gen i know of is in my area, and it took him a lot of work to get it right!

at least you didn't swerve through traffic with him

He's an idiot. Did he truly think he can beat you? After racing against Lost_Concept's P5, it's going to take a lot more than headers and exhaust to beat a 2.0
