<<Just something for you to chew on. >>

living in Sydney WRX's are everywhere...no biggie... git it (fastest wrx on the planet from oz)

u own a wrx...well done nice car

you can beat a protege...clap clap.. well done maybe you'll be able to sleep better at night

if i counted the number of cars that have tried to race me or gee me up i would surely run out of space..however i do not need to go on about it..or post stupid threads which are obviously meant to incite the members of this forum.

so a wrx can beat a protege....
well my 1.6l protege can rip **** on a 2l impreza... any day!!

from reading your forum it seems that you guys not only bag out proteges..but mazda in general...well...then be a man and go and flame the rx7 forum instead..so they can chew on your ***!

After reading the links to these threads I get the impression that WRX owners are all law abiding citizens driving 220hp cars, they claim all our stories end with "and I hit 110..."

Well every story I read on that board ended with "the speed limit was XX... I wasn't about to go breaking that..."

Christ if I spent 35000+tax on a car I think I might be inclined to spool it up every now and then.

Just my $0.02

WRX owners tend to be pretty nice , my best friend just bought his new black 2002 wrx in houston, and i must say its speedy, although i dont go for the design of the car, looks like it got shmacked in the face with a frying pan...none the less the majority of them are pretty nice, but as you can expect, when you have a car that fast with that much potential your bound to have a few asses who DO have that "my car is better than your car" attitude and look down on you, theres a obnoxious little group of WRX's in austin that meet occasionally at the mall, and they tore my protege to pieces one night when i asked for a jump because they claimed i had modified it (i had a rusted out muffler at the time). they got a cookie and the finger for being able to pick on a teenier car, next thing you know theyll be giving gramma the finger n flashing hazards when they pass her in her corolla or what not. none the less we came back the next sunday night in a friends s/c'ed i30 with some beautiful mods and a brand spankin new i35 and picked on their little subarus..same concept, doesnt feel good to get your awd turbo machine handed its *** to you...once again the actions of a few jack asses screw it up for everyone...on a side note , for the love of god dont race someone unless they know their involved...

personally , I would have never let that p5 beat my ***,knowing that I have a faster car, ..... I mean shoot he pulled up on him ,flexed with at automatic , and you did nothing and all you would have to do is push the pedal down a little just to keep with him and make him look stupid, ... I have driven a WRX and I know they have pretty good power, it is not mind blowing ,but pretty good ....
I saw how they were ragging on him on that board and to be honest if it was me on that board , I would rag on him to ,, ..
It would have been different if he the WRX was slower and it really did not make sense , but I mean cmon

btw, wrx should be around $25 otd +/-. Most of us are against street racing. We do take advantage of the power from time to time, but we leave them on the track.

we rip on stupid drivers not the car so much. I personally think protege is a great car (my sister owns one, and I drive it from time to time), but I rally so subaru is better for me.

here is the thing. no matter if you are in the honda community, subaru, mazda, or lexus. you always have some dick heads here and there. including subaru (not saying in this case who is a dick head).

...and there are people on this site that bash American cars... so what's your point?? ...sites that are specifically geared towards one type of car or brand are gonna naturally bag on cars that aren't of that brand... so get over it...

Am I the only one that noticed

that Black2002WRX came in here, started a thread that could very easily have been started in the Flamewars section then he never came back.

I equate that to going up to someone's door, ringing the door bell and running. Childish, immature, and just plain ignorant.

To stick wit the topic of the thread, my best friend posts on i-club.

He has a WRX that will kill almost anything on the road.

runs a 13.0 sec flat on the 1/4 mile at 106mph.

Now to boast, whenever we go somewhere he likes to take my car because the ride is better and not near as stiff over the "smooth as glass" roads of Orlando.

BTW. My friend is not juztin180

so what's your point??
i thought i made it clear

btw..welcome to the forums

and i am definately over it

just not happy when people look down on you for the type of car you drive..i believe that if you are going to start a **** fight..it should not be Mike Tyson putting **** on Kosta Tszyu, if you know what i mean...and you are right, certain people from one make forums are naturally going to put **** on other makes...however i consider this wrong..as you can probably tell from my post, and i only go as far as saying that subies are very common, however i respect the car and the make, as i do other car makes...each has their flaws and advantages..and i acknowledge that

peace

Seriously...apples and oranges here. WRX needs to go against a Lancer EVO...not a all motor Protege. WRX's aren't that fast...I've taken a lot of them in my RX7. Those guys just like to beat up on guys with slower cars. I never instigate any races unless they try to pick on me, then they get slammed. I try to stick to track racing. So to all you cocky WRX owners out there, don't pick on my Protege brothers, pick on me and you'll see what 310RWHP can do to your stupid yuppie asses. Sure...you can beat me on dirt roads, but who the hell drives on those? I may have a twin turbo RX7, but I started out in a Protege and you can't beat the fuel economy.
