Unhappy Please be careful

Hi everyone...I know it's fun to talk about your racing stories and all that, and I would be the first to tell you one or more today. But I won't.My best friend Nathan crashed on a concrete wall yesterday at 150 km/h (93mph).He was not driving. He was in another guy's car,(a friend we just met,it was the first time my friend Nathan got in his car, a 95 civic, and the guy wanted to impress my friend). At 170 km/h(106mph),in the right lane(f*ck**g @ss!!!) ,a volvo cut him(f*ck**g @ss!!!).He stomped the brakes, sled to the left, crossed all the highway in front of all the cars coming from behind, hit a concrete wall with the left half of the front, then the right side of the car slammed on the wall, breaking the side window in thousand of small pieces, then the car sled again for around 100 ft before stopping in the middle of the highway. The inside tires blew during the initial slide, probably preventing the car from rolling endlessly.

The good part is,
everyone is alive. The driver got his left ankle and collarbone broken,my friend had a small concussion and the drivers wife in the back of the car knocked her head on the left side window.

When I learned about this, from Nathan himself hours later,
a few things have changed. It will not alter my need for speed, but I will definitely keep it for the track, not the road.I am not trying to tell you a lesson whatsoever, but do what you want with this story.

damn right

A car is nothing more than a cage that could crush you inside it.I am sorry you have lost some friends .I consider my friend a lucky bastard, and am happy he is!!
I talked to him on the phone this morning for half an hour, and we were glad we were doing so!!!He isnt scared to be in a car or anything, but he has banned street racing from his life. Now he still wants to race, but on a track, just as me.Our project to open a speed shop is still up,but we will promote legal racing.
Sometimes, you nearly die or lose someone to understand.

same **** happened to me this summer, but somehow i gained control of the car....

i am driving with like 110 mph and there is no cars in front of me whatsoever.......next thing I know.......this f**king looser cuts in front of me...............he was like 15 feet in front of me and he goes into my lane with no turn signal.............man..........i don't know how i made it but from then on i am much more careful when going fast on the highway........

**** i didn't even want to get in a car like a month after that happened............

go fast if you want but be careful, because at that speed a little mistake could mean your life............

and even if you're a perfect driver it could be someone else that does something stupid and at that speed there is little that one can do..........

Personally I despise street racing. It makes me sick when some little punk pulls up revving his little engine thinking he and his car are invincible. I just want to say, killing yourself or someone else, or landing yourself in jail is not something worth racing for. Take it to the track!!!!!!!! I just wanted to rant. But please think about it. If you think my car is faster than yours you're probably right. Just ask I'll tell you but I will not show you.

Street racing is illegal and dangerous. If you want to street race don't do it in a populated area. We get together on Friday nights in a parking lot and when is time to have fun we all go to an industrial park, where there is no traffic. Everybody that goes there knows the dangers of it so if anyone gets hurt is not going to be an innocent bystander, and there is not going to be any surprises ( well maybe except the Cops )
