careful wioth the 5th gear!

Hey
I had a problem with my tranny lately.It would not go into 2nd and 4th gear.

I had it repaired under warranty,and was later told that this problem could happen if you shift to fast from 4th to 5th gear.

so now I'm beeing careful when I do so.......

You know, because powershifting from 4th to 5th is so necessary... ?!?

but even in the rx7 we NEVER go past 4th gear, which tops out at 130

yeah, and the protege will do 80-ish in third, and pretty much top out in fourth. i didn't think that there was enoughpower to even need to power shift into fifth!?!
