That's a nice clean car .. just not something I would like to drive. There's something about GM interiors that is just so blah!! It doesn't have any feeling to it. You gotta admit yourself the interior of the Mazda 3 rocks the hell out of that of a Cobalt. You also get sportshift with the automatic ..

Anyway, this is getting to be waaaaaay off topic. If you'd like to continue this discussion please open a new thread somewhere in the 'Other' category and we can go from there. Thanks bud.

a supercharged cobalt ss

not the badge on the right denoting supercharged. also, they have different interiors. i hope that that wasnt your car and you were using it as an example, because its NOT a supercharged car. even in the description it says its just the regular ss

LOL good catch. It's not my car. I was showing how alike the two versions are. If it wasn't for the interior pics you would have never know if was a supercharged version or not. It's all too easy to simply removed the "supercharged" badge (which many owner's do). From the exterior it is nearly impossible to tell the difference unless you have a trained eye. For '07 both versions now even have the same wing.

Cobalt SS kicks my ES 2.0 to the curb anyday.

It's not the worst car on the road by any means.

I've never driven the Cobalt, but they seem pretty quick - at least as fast as an MSP I'd assume.

I can see it beating a stock mustang, if modded properly. My cousin a mustang - 2005 bone stock, and it's not as fast as you'd expect - seems to make more noise than anything else. Sure it's faster than my 4 banger, but for the price, it'd better be.

Not trying to bash anyone here, i just think everyone is welcome to their own opinions. Mazda's not the only company who knows how to make cars, haha.

NOTE: Congrats on those wins by the way. Awesome to hear about 4cyls beating 8!

Here is video of a cobalt SS with just the GM stage II upgrade ($525). Best run of 13.8. Not bad for only adding 3lbs of boost.

Looks like it, but all the videos on the page go to a 404 type page. Either old vids or taken down.

Rofl.
This is where a 'pwned' image would go, but I don't think it even needs one.
