man those so much damn hype about the si(b16) motor, man please i whoop those cars all day, i even raced a 93 hatchback with a 96 b16 swap with intake headers exhaust, and vtec controller and i spanked him up by like 3 or 4 cars, i even raced a 93 2door accord with an h22 vtec motor and spanked him by 5 cars, i also whooped up a 97 gsr by like 4 cars even when he hit his third gear and i hit mine i was still pulling, as for the sir yuh those things are quick i lost to one but i was riding on his bumper and he had more work then all i got is a filter and full exhaust, even my boy who has a 93 bp motor with works whoops up si's all day just like me, hondas are cows, civic's are garbage until you but some nice motors like a b20, ls-vtec, or an h22a in them then those bitches can runs, there a couple of civics out here i got respect for but trust me a bp motor can whoop an si any day, hehehe my b6 kills them!

Skidpads hardly tell the tale of "handling."Even Car & Driver calls the current generation of Civics "something new from Honda...a loser."First off Honda needs to quit putting Insight tires on their performance cars. Most new(and older) Civics are what we call in the autocross world "push dogs." They understeer badly. The Proteges on the other hand have always easily won any comparison test ever done by C/D mostly due to their "fun to drive" factor and wonderful chassis. Drag racing is one thing, and Hondas can beat us most of the time. But staightaways are for fast cars, corners are for fast drivers. My personal poke at the 5 million or so booger-nosed high school kids with their "vtec-type R-Si-cantelope launcher tailpiped lowriders" are my personalized plates that simply say , "VTC FREE". Enjoy!

Talking

[B]OK Smarty, all together I spent $1,900 On hooking up my ride

I doubt you only spent $1,900 in your proyect so LETS BE REAL the only way is if you install stolen parts.in that case lets see how much time you engine survive without a broken block or piston.

MAZDA NUMBER 1 ALWAYS THE BEST OF 2 WORLDS
ROTARY AND PISTONS JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA
HONDA ARE OWNED ALWAYS.

It all boils down to power to weight ratio and torque. The Pro comes close with torque.. but power to weight is what kills it. its a heavy car. Mine tips at 2600 without me in it.

Now as far as Rodd sayin that civic's are not fast.. lol.. my friend has a hatch that runs into 11's n/a and 195 whp.... because he's shaved off a lot of weight. He's not into forced induction, and wants it all to be natual aspiration. He has got to where he can nail 12 flat.. because if he hits into 11's here, they'll make him put a cage in his car.

Ok, with that but it looks like you are talking about a race car I am talking about daily driven cars mi friends protege runs 11.7 and the 323 runs 10.3 in the 1/4 mile and they use their cars for everiday.
