It's all good dude, I feel your pain. You know something that's worse??? I dick that doesn't wanna admit that his **** has nitrous.
Happened to me. I pulled off a neon twice. Then we get to another light, it goes green and I start pulling agian.... all of a sudden he flies by me like he grew two more cylinders. We pull over and he's gonna tell me that his **** is all motor, no nitrous. I told him to **** off with that bullshit....

It's better to be a sleeper. I'm a sleeper. No sticker, emblems, nothin'!!! I'm as humble as can be until "Wham Bam." Check out my ride if you wanna find out. I personally don't like to brag especially if I don't have the it. Even if I have it, I would keep it "silent nite, holy nite" ooppsss wrong song; I mean like the Knight Rider.

I haven't had time to put pics on my cardomain page.

BTW, how do you put a picture as a back ground on cardomain.

Wow, how depressing. I just sold my 12 second mustang and bought a Protege ES, and now im reading about 17 and 19 second ricers racing each other and about how one is a sleeper?

newsflash...all 4 cylinder cars are sleepers..

ok, I think Ill leave now. This Mazda site shouldnt even have a "racing" section"......

Actually, we do have quite a bit of 13s and 14s protege's in this club.

17-19s is stock. If you noticed a handful of people didn't keep there car stock. Such as Turboge, Biknman, B8Turbo, and Linuxnija. I know there are a lot more ppl too.

Thanks Redrims for metioning my name. The Import scene has gained quite a respectable and formidable reputation in the East & West coast nowadays compared to the mid-90s. Many car enthusiasts are joining the band wagon in the import drag racing with the tiny 1.6/1.8L imports. The all-motor section is already doing 12s or 13s. The turbocharged imports are running as low as 10s or 9s. Turbo magazine is dedicated to these types of cars.
Check it out Mach 1. There should be some good encouragement in the magazine. FYI, protege has many good potentials. Just check out my ride as linked in my signature.

I realize everything you say, and was just making a general comment. I didnt spend a lot of time in the "street racing" section on the website, but was disapointed in the crap I was reading. I shouldnt have been surprised though, most website "street racing" sections are disapointing, no matter what the make of car. It just seems all the more ridiculous to me to hear people street racing their proteges....but I guess I have to realize that people will race anything on the street, no matter how slow it is.

B8turbo- i will check out your ride. I am interested in what it takes to make on of these cars a 13 or 14 second car.

Mach 1, if I could read up on Honda cars in this Malaysian site, you'll see that the racing stories are even more ridiculous. Over here, each group of ppl boast & brag to each other about their racing stories. This is the typical Malaysian style. I didn't wanna say Asian cuz then everybody will be jumpin' on my a$$.
Anyway, Turboage and a lot of other ppl are good consultants to making a 12 or 13s Proteges. Ask them first cuz I'm a newbie.
