there is a tire calculator somewhere around here (or @ least a link) see if you can find it! you put in the original / new sizes and it tells you speedo changes.

hmm....so apparently my speedo is 1.6% too slow with the new rims...
so if my speedo reads 100km/h, im actually doing 101.6 km/h....
if i went with a 45 series tire, it woulda been opposite, so i'd be going about 1.7% too fast
