my tires come in this friday!! they're only Kumho's tho, but they're like, high preformance, near top of the line, so im happy with 'em

but the rims are 17" MSR style 138
they're going on my mazda3, and the offset is 40... i think, im not really sure to be honest
but its somewhere around 40....somewhere close to stock i believe

^^ Is it just an illusion but the sidewalls look huge? Did you maintain the same overall tire/rim height not to throw off your speedo, the rubber looks tall and flexy. The 50 series tires really adds a lot of sidewall.

What were you running originally, 205/55-16's? They do look great with the silver. Wonder how a 215/45-17 would have fit, they would only had a slightly smaller over diameter over the 16's by .3

 

i was thinking that after the rims were on too.... the sidewall does seem really... big....
but they are 50 series, stock mazda3 17" tire size.
18 woulda looked way nicer, but those get pricey.....
altho, i kinda do wish i went with 18's, cuz im gonna have this car for quite a while...

but it'll look WAY better once my calipers get painted red, and i eventually lower my car

 

and my original tires were on the stock steel 15's.... so, 205/60-R15.... i think...
and how much would a 45 series tire affect my speedo??
