Rotating my tires today:

think i've taken too many right hand turns....

Left Front Tire vs Right Front Tire
(both been on car same amount of time and up front same amount of time and ~ same pressure ~33 vs 35 when i took 'em off)

actually, these tires look GOOD (@ least 3 do) for me having them on my car, i'm HORRIBLE on tires, think these are @ ~11k

Besides the obvious cosmetic appeal of having neato yellow wires all over the engine bay, not too much. I guess the only thing it really does is lower electric resistance under the hood which increases overall effectiveness of your electrical system. The end result is a much smoother idle. Also, if your lights dim when rolling down windows, unlocking doors, etc. then a good grounding kit will help minimize the overall stress and that was part of the reason I did this mod. Some say it gives you an extra 5 HP but I didn't notice anything at all. Maybe 1 HP .. maybe.

Quite honestly, it's more of a cosmetic mod. The only thing it does performance wise is help smooth our your idle and keep your lights from dimming if you're putting a lot of strain on your elec. system. I have a car starter, alarm, all sorts of window/sunroof modules, and a subwoofer so I figured a good grounding kit wouldn't hurt anything. Not exactly necessary, but I did it just as a precaution and also cuz it dresses up the engine bay a bit.

Krayzie--very ingenious way of making your Simota CAI into an SRI. How do you have it mounted to keep that flexible connection from flopping around? Did you use the mounting bracket from Simota?

Yep, hooked it up to the battery tray bolt and secured right before the MAF. The only reason it works like an SRI is because that Simota filter is such a tight fit that it can be secured on the other end of the MAF very very snug.

yeah, southern ontario, and its 13 degrees C out....
its usually only a few degrees out...
and while washing my wheels, i noticed my front passengers is completly bent on one spot.. like, its bent inwards in two ways...
that would probably explain the bad gas mileage..
i wont worry about it until the fall, when the soon to be new rims come off for the winter

i'd clean yours (lol) but i wanna clean my parents car first
