Travis , that guy has 18's on that car, and it has the same clearance as your civic with 14's , that means if you put on 18's you would not be as low as him and if he put on 14's , he would have no clearance, wich would make that car umm lower than your civic ...
just a thought

What is the difference between what these guys are doing and the guys that hotrod 'classic' north american cars?

I personally don't get either, but hey if they want to spend the money and it makes them feel good who am I to say it is wrong.

I'll say that I admire the craftmanship of the work. Even though it isn't my taste, I can appreciate the work that goes into it.

And I don't think that any of those cars qualify as typical 'rice' (I'm getting really ******* sick of THAT term BTW). The typical riced out car is done in such a way that it looks like it is fast, but it isn't. And the mods to make it look fast generally do the opposite.

Obviously these cars aren't 'race' cars. They are show cars. Say they look like **** because you don't like the way they look, it isn't your style...whatever. But don't just label everything you don't happen to like as rice.

I think all the CF stuff looks like hell, and I can't understand why someone would pay the high price for it. But I'm not going to say (or has never been my intention) they are stupid for doing so, or label them 'rice'.

And Sweden...I'm not going to listen to any style points you may have. WTF is with all the ICP ****? Do the stickers on your car make it go faster? Or is it just a way for you to express yourself? Hmmm...similar to what they guys who own the featured pros are doing. Think a little, instead of trying to be the funny wise *** guy all the time.

Ahh man, I respect the work, and the amount of chedda that had to go into these rides. Don't get me wrong. And as for the other country thing, well sorry. I know not all my points are valid, I was just randomly firing off with no research. My word is far from right, or the last thing. I really don't care where these cars are from, or who likes them or who dislikes them. To each their own. Yes lots of hard work, and these cars are people's pride and joy so i can respect that.
I was basically just talking ****, no real substance behind anything I was saying. Sorry i didn't know every post should be well thougt out and researched. I just try to keep things random and interesting. As for my ICP ****, yeah its different, just like those rides. I don't like those rides, and I'm sure many people don't like my ride. But that is all good with me because I am the only one who has to care about the Juggalo Wagon. I don't put it in other people's faces and expect great reactions. The only people that's cool to reactions from about the ICP **** on my car are other Juggalos, and it gets their attention. So just liek these people at the show. They are just looking for reactions, and impressions from other people. Why else would they make these expensive unpractical rides? So if they like it cool, its their car.

Jeeezus guys chill. You should know by know that about half of what I type here is complete bullshit just to create interesting conversations and interactions. Anyway, whatever, bottom line is if you like your car, than that's all that really matters.

Bruce that was very annoying. When you said, "then you must not really have an eye for detail" I can tell you that am an artist, I pay close attention to detail, the hole is just a bad ideal. How long do you think it toke them to think of putting a hole in a car. : Doh: You need to get a clue on detail! Also when you said." is it just me or am I answering all of these statements ... What are you proud of your opinion, anybody can do that. Oh bye the way is it me or have you only been to the Caribbean hmm!!

So, in the opinion of an artist such as yourself what is wrong with these cars? Give us your 'detailed' opinion with an artistic slant.

Careful, don't make yourself look like an ***

If you are going to make statements then back them up. It is called follow through. Learn it. Live it.

If you think the cars look like ****, or the workmanship sucks then tell us why.

My happiness has nothing to do with this. But I'm glad you care.

Obviously the whole in the hood is not something that is practical on a drivable car, unless there is plexi on the underside of the hood. But on a show car I thought that it was pretty cool and inventive. Would I do that to a car I own? Nope. But I think as a mod it is several steps above what the typical 'ricer' does to his car.

Have a GREAT day.

Look! I am working, no lie. Why don't you calm down. When I said I don't care,I meant I was really not pointing my finger at those cars, more so on Bruce for being mean on others. You do not know me I not the fighting type of person and it's not like my opinion matters you guys are too likely to bash me of anything I say.

Im not big on show cars. To me it looks like some one took a blender and threw in 10 hotwheels cars, a kalidascope, an airplane, a shoe, a box of puzzle pices, several cans of paint and a huge amount of vodka and bam you got a car show. Im am glad though that there are people that make cars different from my own so that way mine doesnt look like everyone elses!!!! And also when people go to the extremes many times those of us who are into milder forms of mods will find things here and there that we end up doing like the clear tail lights!!! Just the way I feel.... If you dont like it then

And lay off reking just giving their opinion..

Forgive me, for this is my first post.

I have been lurking here for quite some time as I am in the market to get a P5. This thread, by far, is the most spirited one I have read yet.

Now, on to my opinion:
The cars are just plain ugly and serve no functional purpose. Most Hot-rodded american cars and most "customs" are still very functional autos. These are not. Sure, everyone likes to personalize their own vehicle, but there has to be a line where you step back and say, "No, that just does not look right" or "that won't work". It is obvious that most "ricers" along with these poor (not financially speaking) schmucks crossed over that line. I just don't understand it.

But then again, I don't understand alot of things such as:
I don't understand why someone would put a rear wing on a front drive car.
I don't understand why anyone has a need for Hydraulics in any type of street car, unless they were handicapped and needed it for getting in/out of vehicle.
I don't understand why people can't speak in proper english instead of using all this "bling-bling", "sick", etc. crap. If it looks good, hell, say "it looks good". WTF
I don't understand why some people put exhaust on their cars that make it sound like a coffee can. Sure, it will never sound like a V8, but for Christ sakes, it has got to be able to sound better than that.
I don't get the wild "aerodynamic" pieces that some of these people put on their cars. I would really be interested if these kits actually improve downforce on the vehicle and if it changes the coefficient of drag at all, if not make it worse.

I could go on, but the point is I don't understand. I guess it is true that if you like you car, so be it. But you cannot force anyone to like it or dislike it. Everyone needs to relax and enjoy the cars that we have.

nice first post, huh?
