To me it looks like an ordinary car show. Lots of car with a lot of money put into them, trying to be as different as possible.

Thats what I was thinking, but IMO I think this one looks more realistic looking.

For all of you guys that think these are rice cars, I would like a list of reasons why ,,, If you can't give me a list of reasons, then your all full of it ... why
here we go
first those clear lights on the back of that 2nd gen are frigin top notch , think about that , they have all of the factory designs and curves in it . and for a item that is not mass produced that is sick .. The art work on the 2nd and 3rd gen cars is sinical . why you ask ? ..
the third gen has the puzzle paint , wich in my opinion is sicker (10X) than the p5 from APC , why ? look on the hood , you can see where they left a spot out so you can see the engine bay , tight ,,, again look at the detail of the artwork (topnotch) . it's all airbrush , these guys would shut **** down at our carshows in the US .. the whold damn car is airbrushed.. sick. even the inside, the seats , behind the interior door handle . the dash is sick ....so what are you guys talking about that these cars are rice, (haters ) ...
now look at the yellow second gen , he has a evolution hood vent molded into the hood, (factory hood) and do you see any raises or putty marks, nope ,, this is tight work if you ask me and if you guys don't like it then I don't know what style you go work , maybe unquality work lol ..... only thing I don't like is the trunk of the second gen with the blueishpurpulish color , I thought is trunk was just overcrowded and looked tacky

Look! Maybe l don't like over done cars and has already been done! Exterior on that third gen puzzle paint , the airbrushing was not that great and matter of fact there's a gold puzzle paint P5 that has the same look, but that one has great paint work done to it. Sorry I don't have time to type every like and dislike on those cars, I'm working!!

I am very familiar with the puzzle paint p5, and if you ask me , who wants a car that color anyway .. I think you either need a better monitor or you should really look closer, cause I am looking at the art work and the detail is sick , look at the strokes at the edge of the puzzle with different shades of blue, and it so happens that they all match the main color of the car, that is in my eyes the tightest 3rd gen I have ever seen

I may be totally clueless but...

what's the point of these, um, 'show' cars???

I thought cars are suppose to be driven, not just to be gauked at like it's a statue or something. I can't in my wildest imagination see these car cruising down the street without getting banged up by road hazards or getting in trouble with the thugs/thiefs lurking around the corner. And forget about driving fast with these things, with all that STUFF crammed into the trunk, a stock Protege would eat it for lunch any day!!! And can you imagine the cost of fixing rock chips on these cars!!!!

If I want to look at a nice piece of STATIONARY artwork I'll go to an art gallery or a museum. When I want to see a cool car I want to see it as an ART IN MOTION, not just sitting there!!!

Please, someone PLEASE enlighten me on why so many people are fascinated by these inmobile 'cars' (if they're still considered cars)

That's a lot of work to make those cars look different. You gotta at least appreciate the craftmaship on some of those. As Bruce said it, there's so much attention to detail on them. They're probably very driveable as well, just not meant for racing. They're probably not daily-drivers anyways
