That's the erebuni kit isn't it? I really like that spoiler. Kinda looks like the OEM spoiler without the led, and it looks like the sides stick out farther. If anyone knows where to get that spoiler... you should let me know That's a hot pro though. Looks really good.

I think it is the Erebuni kit. I'm also a fan of the APC M3 style mirrors w/ signals.

It is a very nice Pro. Although I think the rims could stand to be a little bigger

overdone!?

How do you figure its overdone? And why do you think its ricey? I thought ricey would be like if you put stuff on the car that doesn't belong for example, Type R stuff on a non Type R car, etc. Just my opinion.

Someone needs too seriously revise the definition of rice... It's a term that gets thrown around way too much... Most people think rice is something useless added to a car... I disagree, because if something is done in good taste, it cannot be considered rice, although that brings back the question of the definition of rice being different for everyone. Stickers are arguably the very first thing to look for on a rice car, but the main thing that makes a car rice is in my opinion, the identity crisis. For example, the Type-R badge. Another thing is anything overdone. For example, a wing on top of a wing. That's overdone and it's rice because there's NO WAY to justify it. Other things like body kits and mags and SOME lights (I won't go into the winshield washer nosle subject ) that can be justified cannot be considered rice. Just my opinion. I don't fine this car rice, EVEN THOUGH it has nasty-*** altezza style tailights (identity crisis??), because it is not overdone and it still looks clean and unwasted. When a car looks like it was ruined, that's another caracteristic of rice...
All in my opinion of course!

I just don't like the body kit. It makes the car just look fugly IMO. Whatever floats your boat, though. If the owner of the car likes it, more power to him. Just something to think about... Do what YOU like to your car, but realize others may have their own opinions about it.

I like it and I don't think it is overdone at all. Very tastefull IMHO.
The body kit adds a nice unique quality to seperate it from the rest of the protege's running around. I never noticed how many protege's their are but now that I own one they just seem to stand out. Anyway I give it a

(P.S. I thought it was a honda at first, hehe) j/k

I understand that you have your opinion about the car. I have mine as well. Not critisizing (sp?) your opinion just asked why you thought the way you did about the car. Just curious. Let me ask you something else. Do you think every car with a kit looks "fugly"? I think a kit will help as person take his place in shows and magazines. Like for instance, one of my goals with my car is to get on the cover if not a article in a top import mag. I think with a protege thought and not just a protege but ill use it for example, you wont get on any cover or barely any article without having some kind of body mod like a kit. I have to agree with Mp-3 owner, a kit does seperate you from the rest. And i have to disagree with bizob about the altezza's. The stock lights are just too plain. Boring if you ask me. My opinion. Ya'll have a good one!

I understand what you mean and I respect your opinion. I'm glad we can have this conversation without turning it into a flame-war. Anyway, no, I don't think body kits make your car ugly. I don't like the ones that ruin the lines of the car by adding more onto it. The Protege with the body kit has too much going on, especially in the front and rear bumpers. Also, without some bigger wheels, the car would look like an oversized pig riding on 13" wheels. Here's an example of a kit I like (Votex Kit for a VW Jetta):

i really like the mirrors. What do ya'll think? A small aluminum wing or larger fiberglass? Hard to say. I like my fiberglass one.
