No ones job was ever as WORST as mines When i was 15 years old, i lived in Newyork and i worked for the summer youth program in Harlem. Oh my goodness To get paid on pay day you had to wait in a line with 1000's of other kids to get your check ! We had to ride the train from the Bronx to Harlem at 4 am ! Dont even think about hanging out that friday night you need all the energy you can get, it was hot, everyone was getting mad, To get there at 4 am in the morning prior to waking up around 2 am something was considered being in the front of the line the that went for blocks ! If you cut in line u got jumped People brought blankets ! But we got in line at 4 am and got out around 12 pm, Thats how long the lines where and when you got to the front they looked in a box for your check, if you got in the wrong line and the people passing out the checks where in a bad mood you had to walk allllllll the way back in the line again ! And if you tried to cut you got jumped. Iam not over yet ! What i did was clean up parks and projects around Newyork. We spent one whole day in the summer heat cleaning up the area's to make them look nice but when night came, and we came back the next morning it looked like we never did a thing ! I swept up so many crack needles, weed bags, condoms, bullets it was bad ! My friend put a about a pound of white powder he found under the glassly child playground slide, some man asked us who cleaned that area, and my friend said he did, the man screamed if you dont find the pound of crack that he was going to kill him, my friend said ok then pretended he was looking because 30 dudes began getting all loud and crazy due to the large amount of crack gone, they were about to woop him big time, so i told him to run as soon as a cop came, he pretended to look for it than ran to a cop car as soon as one was near they chased after him but stopped when they saw the cop LOL ! My friend told the cop he had drugs and threatened to kill him, the cop arrested the dude who was high, and my friend got transferred to a safer office type job for his safety. But that job was crazy, i seen so many fights, pimps slapping girls in broad daylight, crack heads fighting that truely was the worst job EVER !

The best is the one I've got now working as a waitress at a sushi bar/japanese restaurant. No one besides the owner understands me, and vice versa so I just have to smile and nod <like so Plus the tips are awesome And btw.. If you're one of those ppl that doesn't tip your waitress at LEAST 10% for good service, you need to seriously revise your attitude pal, I'll be waiting for you in a dark alley some day

Disclaimer: If you ever get attacked in a dark alley, it wasn't me!
Oh **** you're one of 'em waitress who wouldn't take nothing less than 10%. JK! I remember one time I had dinner at this Japanese/Korean restaurant and you know sometimes when you tip you wanna make the charge to an even dollar? Ahh well I made it even not knowing it was less than 15%... I was about to take the exit when this Korean lady called me and said outloud.. "Sir you tip no 15%"! OMG! It was embarrassing!

I always tip my waiters/waitresses depending on the service I get....after all....that is what you are paying for....if the service is good...they get their 15%...if its not...they get what they deserve...

of corse if they are REALLY good....well.....they get even more. Myself and a friend went and picked up one of or internet friends at the airport one day...he had a 4 hour layover...so we took him out to lunch and just had a great time...anyway the place we went was nearly empty...we were cutting up and having a great time and the waitress was really cool and joked with us and we with her....actally gave her a bad time in a joking way....we all ended up chippin in and her TIP was more than the bill was! she earned it just by putting up with us .... it was a good time!

LOL, that's even worse than tipping too little, having the waiter/waitress chase you down because you tipped too little

who says we HAVE to tip 15%? it's a standard number, but the tipper should tip whatever they feel like and the waiter should have nothing to complain

Damn that was really rude of your waitress! I would have taken it all back... Yes y'all, I most certainly agree that you should tip according to service!! Normally I make excellent tips where I work, but another server on the same shift doesn't make half of what I do simply because of her attitude. I probably wouldn't tip her that great either. When I bitch about low tips I'm talking about when someone has a bill over $70, you give them EXCELLENT service, and they leave you $2. Grrrr

My friend worked in the pussycat theater cleaning the booths after men took care of their business. How about that.
