i dont completely understand myself.i admit that i hardly check in that often. it is sad but this is the first time i checked new post in a few days, and there is more new post at clubprotege in just 1 day.
i too miss the days when this site when it was thriving. i think alot of different things contributed to alot of members falling out, not just one specific thing. this was the first place that i really felt welcome, and still dont really feel at home at any of the other sites now. whether it be because people might think my car is rice, or i drive a auto, or i dont give a squat about turbo or whatever it could be.just alot more info and other productive protege people! i am just a protege enthusiasts, i like meeting fellow protege owners and seeing what new things people are doing so i just ***** around.
maybe one day things will get better.
i still have love for pclub tho! long live pclub!
the site could for sure use a facelift and a couple of bonus features!

The only section on clubprotege that gets more traffic than this site is the Off Topic section. The general discussion sections on this forum get more posts and those are the sections that count.

I still poke around in clubpro only when I actually have a problem since most of the braniacs are over there now. being as I'm apparently a better listener than a talker, I just read or I come here and search for a simple solution or repair tips since I can't post over there anymore. I was terminated for "threatening" jesse. Pompous ***** who slaps down an innocent question by responding in a rude post. Ya ya, use the search function. As said earlier in this thread, we were all there once.
Big ******* deal. The post he made to shut up the newbie and tell him to use the search button could have answered the question in the first place. Unfortunately, there are others that do that too, which is why I never bothered to re-register. Whats the point in having a ******* board if you can't ask questions?
Anyway, the community at club pro is very active, but all the info is already here. with time, proclubs new members will grow in experience and can become a community as once was before-if this board can stay up.
Protegeclub has the info, Clubprotege has the interaction.

The main reason to stay here is that we're the only ones who've proven that years from now, we'll still be around. I've been running Mazda websites since 1996 ... we'll be here forever. The reason why we've kept this site online is that it was the first. That counts for something. And when all the dust settles, I'm confident we'll be here same as always.

Actually protegetech was first. Besides the yahoo group there was the message board on the protegetech site as well, and there was a message board I believe at prowners.com or .net, but its not around anymore.

And the fact that you're a whiny tool who doesn't know what he's talking about???? OHHHH, that could be something.

I was forced to give up my Focus and yet I remain on TeamFocus. I'm actually up to "Overlord" there... over 1750 posts.

well for me, i basically left before all these board wars went on...

The protege i drive is not mine, it is my parents, even tho i do drive it more than they do, and i've easily put on half (if not more) of the miles.

Soon i will be getting an RX-7, (S5 FC TII)
so really i've been going on the RX-7s boards now, and brushing up on my rotary knowledge...

Cuz i was young (Still am ) I never really made new posts that everyone can say i need to search, i was young and just getting into cars, so i just kept reading and reading, and gaining knowledge on most levels of cars.... Now i knwo quite a bit....

reading does alot to your knowledge, and thas what i did.... you see, with reading all the older posts, you sometimes learn other things s well, instead of just learning the thing you are interested in.

Well i've been around here for a while, I came just before protegetech went down....

I've been apart of the RX-7 clubs for way more longer than here tho, but really i started posting here first, never really posted in the RX-7 clubs, just read alot.

And lately in my area, a new club was formed, so i'm a part of that too, and we get together quite often, and such, and have fun...

Really i did not knwo about these board wars going on until today haha,
i did come back here once ina while to read a few posts here and there, and earlier on this month i posted replies to some threads where i thought my knowledge could come in handy...

I just checked out clubpro today, after reading this thread.... their layout is really nice....

This site really really needs a facelift, and get some nice features put in...

anyway i will always come on here, as it was really my first protege board, aside from protegetech (but i never posted there)
and well most of my car knowledge came from here.... so i will stick it out here til the end.... which i hope does not come....
