Yah...so I work at the Base Exchange here on Maxwell for JVC...well, while checking inventory in the back...I caught a glimpse of a few Sony boxes...small boxes...boxes only big enough to hold the new PSP...yes Sir....so I decided to pop a box and check 'em out...it's very nice....only problem...they play MINI-DISCs...not regular discs....DAMN!! The models shipped to us comes w/a demo disc and the Spider Man 2 movie...on mini-disc...pretty good deal for $250...

I dunno man all the places I have checked so far are all bundle packs and cheapest was $400.00 pretty dam exspensive if you ask me...

I love my MiniDisc player. There really not that bad, it just sucks that Sony has a monopoly on the market.

 

Anybody played one yet? My cousin bought one w/spiderman 2 and a demo disc for $175 (he had the "hook-up") and so he is going to bring it on Sunday and I will try it

 

I agree with TeamPlayers, MD is awesome, there is just no support because sony is stupid. They are so much more durable than cd's. We used to sell them at Best Buy, (like 6 years ago) both blank and by artist just like regular cd's. then they just fizzled out cuz you could only get Epic label MDs. We've all been cheated out of a better medium because sony is greedy...

No....when I said mini-disc...i meant the TINY small ones man! Not the damn MD's that look like floppies guys! These are actual CDs!!!
