Good to hear. I've been playing project gotham and rallisport for a while now. I also gave Sega GT2k2 a try and liked it. But right now I've been occupied w/ Hunter. Man this game rocks.
Can't wait for Halo2 and project gotham racing 2 to come out next year.

Nightowl - you ever play NFSpeed High Stakes on PlayStation (one)?
I know it's old now, but that was one of my favorite racing games.
If you have it, I can show you a bug in the game that lets you launch your car like 200 feet high and land 1/4 mile from the "jump". Takes practice, but the slo-mo replays of your lauches are so worth it!

And I can't wait for HALO2 to come out. That's the best game for all systems. Well, after Grand Tourismo that is.

I get my air in Germany. In the begining, at the S turns. I go off the road, behind the tree, and into the dip that pops up. That's my favorite spot.

You car will fly like it's a footbal that just got punted.
Post if you're interested, and I'll describe what to do.

Aight, man - If it is NFS III Hot Pursuit for PSone (cuz I don't know the countries, just the track names), I'm gonna HAVE to show you this game bug. I promise you, the air you have been getting is NOTHING compared to the area I'm talking about.

Aight - I wish I could post pics of how to do this - maybe if necessary, I'll try to take some pics of the screen while I do it, maybe that'll work - if I can find my disc first
Anyway - you need to set up on Kindiak Park - any car, any race type - forward direction, and not mirrored. Let's say for example, you choose a full grid of cars, so you are last. Okay.
Being last, you'll start a ways back from the start/finish line, which on Kindiak is the railroad tracks that cross the roadway. So you accelerate, and as you come around the last gentle right, toward the tracks, you need to aim for the small hill just before the "RR X-ing" sign (or maybe it's a crossing gate type thing) on the left of the course, off the road.
If you look closely, you'll see that there are two "hills" - like embankments - one before the tracks, and one after. The object is to run your car onto the first embankment at the right angle, so that you jump the tracks and nail the second embankment while airborne. If you do it correctly, and with good speed, your car will sail WAAAYYYY up in the air, and travel all the way to the next right turn far down the track. I've been able to go just past that turn, and land where the track bends back left again - it's frigging far - and it's fun.
If you don't hit it at the right angle, you'll: 1) miss the jump completely. 2) hit the imaginary "wall" over the tracks - this is if you go too far off the road, and too far up the embankment. 3) hit the pole just after the jump.
There is a slim area to hit - and no real landmarks to know if you are too far off the road, or not far enough. Try to get just the driver's side wheels on the embankment, to send the car into the one after the tracks in the air, but like it was on two wheels.
I believe also, that you need to go off the road before the last light pole before the tracks in order to hit it at the right angle.
Sounds complicated, I know, but once you do it - you'll go back again and again. And then you'll be dying to check out the replays. Try the replay angle that looks backwards, like at the windshield - cool one.
Anyway - I will try to snap a pic of the area - at least maybe I can point out the places to hit. Give it a try.
Have fun.
