Rented a Cadillac CTS for the weekend...

All I have to say is wow !!! I am not impressed by most of GM's products, but this car was NICE.....It had a 255hp 3.6L V6, Leather heated seats,Tiptronic Auto,8 speaker sound system, automatic power everything, dual climate controls,etc,etc,etc....

This car handled well but still floated down the highway the way a luxury car should....

Got a chance to test out the traction control and let me just say it takes a LOT to lose it in this car....

Also got a chance to smoke a turbo Eclipse Spyder, over and over....he was PISSED , but he kept wanting to go....from a dig, no contest, he would spin the tires and I just yanked forward about 2-3 car lengths...From a roll I just slowly pulled away.....

fun stuff...The car was so nice I just couldnt bring myself to dog the car the way a rental car should be treated....

I've read a lot of good things about the new Caddys. Of course I like the CTS-V, not much can substitute for raw power.

And I love that the guy in the Eclipse wouldn't learn. Once might be a fluke, but you get beaten twice, give it up! Wonder how he will tell that story?!

Yeah it was great..

I kept hearing his little BOV sound off as he was shifting...All I had to do was slam the gas.....

He wanted to keep on going but I got tired of it and was getting a little fearful of a ticket, so i turned off

Yeah, CTS's are great... My friend has a BMW z3 and he raced a CTS-V, that thing beat him on straightway but z3 handled alot better around curvy road and pulled away.

I've saw a few Caddys racing on that SpeedTV channel over the summer; they were smoking everything on the track, even in the twisties. I was like, WTF?
